Specialist Background
Dr. Haizal completed his medical degree at USM in 1994 before obtaining his Master of Medicine in Obstetric & Gynaecology from UKM in 2001. He was a Medical Officer in Hospital Tawau, Sabah from 1995 to 1997 before becoming a Medical Officer/Master Trainee in O&G in Hospital Queen Elizabeth Kota Kinabalu from 1997 to 1999 and in Hospital Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia from 1999 to 2001.
As an O&G specialist, he has various professional working experience as an Honorary O&G Consultant at Hospital Umum Sarawak from 2001 to 2008, a visiting O&G Consultant at KPMC Puchong as well as Honorary O&G Consultant at Hospital Putrajaya from 2008 to 2015, before becoming a Resident O&G Consultant in KPMC. Beside practising, he also involved in teaching and lecturing where he is lecturer in O&G Department, Cyberjaya University College of Medical Sciences from 2008 to 2015, then a Visiting Associate Professor at the same University until now.
